The short version

Feefee uses no marketing cookies, no analytics cookies, and no tracking pixels. The only thing we store on your device is the sniff inputs you enter into the comparison tool — and those never leave your browser.

What we actually store

Local storage (essential)

When you fill in the sniff form, your inputs (selected products, balances, providers, rates) are saved to your browser’s local storage so you don’t lose them if you refresh. The keys we use:

  • feefee.onboarding.v3 — your sniff form draft.
  • feefee.holdings.v1 — the cleaned holdings used to render the dashboard.

Email signups (when you opt into the monthly or quarterly digest) do notlive on your device. Your address is sent over HTTPS to our email service provider (Resend, GDPR-compliant data processor) where it’s stored encrypted. We never persist email addresses on the site itself.

The two localStorage keys above are strictly necessaryfor the tool to work — under PECR Regulation 6, strictly necessary storage doesn’t require consent. Clearing your browser data wipes them; you can also clear them manually via your browser’s storage inspector at any time.

No analytics

We don’t use Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or any other cookie-based tracker. We may run Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless page-view counter that reports aggregate visits without profiling individual visitors. Server-side, our host (Vercel) logs request paths and IP addresses for 30 days for security and abuse prevention — that’s logged at the edge, not via a browser cookie.

No advertising

Feefee does not display ads. There are no ad-tech cookies (Doubleclick, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, X / Twitter conversion tracking, etc.) anywhere on the site.

Third-party links

When you click a link to a provider (Trading 212, Hargreaves Lansdown, etc.), the destination site sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Affiliate networks (Awin, Impact) may set a referral-attribution cookie at that point — that’s set by the destination, not by Feefee, and is governed by the destination’s privacy and cookies policies. We don’t see what they store.

We mark every affiliate link clearly inline. You can browse the comparison data without clicking any of them.

If we add analytics later

If we ever add analytics that require consent, we’ll update this page first and roll out a consent banner before anything else changes. We’ll also email current subscribers with a heads-up.

How to refuse cookies you don't want

All major browsers let you block, restrict, or wipe local storage and cookies via Settings > Privacy. If you wipe ours, the sniff tool will start fresh — your saved inputs go with the data. The site itself will still work.

On a per-site basis, look for the lock icon in your address bar > Site Settings > Cookies and site data > feefee.money.

Who runs the site

Feefee is operated by Feefee Money Ltd, registered in England & Wales and with the UK ICO as a data controller (registration reference ZC138289).
